Wish I had some more of that Porter as I look out at the snow today! By the way, the oaked/bourbon version was nice (better than my attempt); definitely didn't overpower the beer. I still preferred the chocolate nibbed but that's just because I'm not a huge fan of bourbon. Both well done and I think they'll get better if you keep them cold for a few weeks. The carbonation was a little rough - meaning the bubbles were large. As it ages cold a lot of fines will drop out and the carbonation will smooth out (little bubbles) because there fines won't be there to act as nucleation sites.
