The ALEiens will now be offering learn to brew classes!
UPDATE: Our FOURTH class will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2015, at 9:30am, on The Hulmeville Inn patio. This is being held for "National Learn to Homebrew Day!".
We typically have 2 brewers brewing the same recipe in 2 ways: 1 all grain, and one BIAB/Partial/Extract/etc.
Classes are a great chance to meet other brewers, ask questions, hone your skills, and see what kind of brewing setup everyone uses. For this class, we'll be brewing a rice pudding brown ale, a recipe put together by Corey McDonald (who will also be doing our all-grain brew that day). Copies of the recipe will be available that day.
Cost is $20 for the class; and $25 for class and a club membership for the remainder of 2015. We'll also have tshirts for sale. Cash or Check are accepted.
As always, classes are offered free to existing members.

Our first class was on August 10th, 2013, at 9:30AM, on the Hulmeville Inn Patio. We had two classes running simultaneously - one for all-grain, and one for extract. We brewed a pale ale.
Our second was held on Saturday, November 2, 2013, at 9:30am, on The Hulmeville Inn patio. This was held on "National Learn to Homebrew Day!" We brewed a beer I can't remember.
Our third class was Saturday, November 8th, 2014, at 9:30am, on The Hulmeville Inn patio. This was held for "National Learn to Homebrew Day!" We brewed a milk stout.
