A big shout out to The Vault in Yardley. This is the first time I've been able to get there since it opened, but my wife and I had an excellent time. The atmosphere was subdued and you could actually talk. The beer was good, the only real question I had was "why am I smelling and tasting hops in a breakfast stout."
The food was excellent and all made on premesis. As a chef, I value menu originality and quality. I couldn't really see a place that they skimped on in the restaurant...from good glass and silverware to original chairs (although it did take a minute to adjust to the tractor style seats), to the wrought iron furnishings and big mirrors, it showed that they invested in this establishment.
So, I will be going back, and hope that they do well.
