ALEiens Homebrew Club

Spreading the Joys of Home Brewing Throughout Philadelphia and the Universe!

Fellas-
I figure that I would give you all first crack at this before I go to Craigslist or E-bay.  I am selling a high temp pump which was designed for brewing.  I never used it.  It is still new in the box.  I bought it with the intention of creating a epic brewing system, but kids starting coming and my plans were derailed.  Please see the attached link for further details.  I paid $150 for it with shipping and tax.  I am asking $125 o.b.o.  Ask around and you will discover that this is the pump to have, if you are a serious brewer.

Shoot me an e-mail at cwalter13@verizon.net

Thanks & Happy brewing.

lame.

Put that thing where you can see it every single day... to remind you of the brewing system you are destined to build. :P
$100.... Done!   My dad and I were just wondering where you and your brother have been.... Haven't seen you at the meetings. But seriously, $100, cash? Lemme know!! Nat
I love your motivational techniques Sam, but I love money just a bit more. One day I will have my own BRUTUS system. One day.

Nat- If it were anyone else, I'd say forget it. Since it is you and big Joe ripping me off, I'll take it. I will try to get to the meeting this month. If I do, I will bring it along. I'll let you know. It's funny how babies destroy your schedule. I'll try to get back in the swing of things.

Hope to see you all soon.
The good thing is that those babies will turn into assistant brewers someday.
Ask me how I know...

"It's funny how babies destroy your schedule."

Try twins!

Oh, but I brewed 10G's of lambic last week and I will be brewing this week too. But these are gonna be late night after the babies are sleeping brews.
Craig, that was my father's idea to get you down to $100! Haha thanks so much!  If
U want me to leave the money at the Hville and u can drop it off when u have time, that works for me!!

Sam, what an awesome picture!  I remember when my dad would brew in the kitchen and he would melt all the candles that were near the stove because he was boiling the wort for so long! Hahah. Too funny!
Yeah, in hind-sight... letting him get that close without clothing was probably not one of my best ideas (mashing out @ 170F with the burner on). Luckily, he survived without any major burns.

Nice grab on that pump!
Sam- I don't know what's more exciting, the fact that he is brewing at such a young age or the fact that I still have those same underoo's. That is outstanding parenting my friend.

Nat- Your dad is much smarter than I give him credit for. He sends you to do his dirty work knowing that I could never say no to you, but would have no problem playing hardball with him. I'm not sure when I will get to the H-Ville before the meeting. If I can get some free time I will stop in and drop it off, but I will let you know. Still at Blair MIll Elem?

Jeff- I have a hard time keeping one in line, I have no idea how you do it. You must drink a lot :) I think the difference is that when it comes to beer, you have a very understanding wife. Mine..... not so much.

See ya'll soon
By the looks of this thread it appears that the pump was sold. If anyone else is interested in this pump. I have the same one available. It is brand new and never been used. However, I don't think I still have the box. . I'll be glad to offer it to anyone interested for the same price as Craig. Drop me a email at joevoge@me.com

Cheers,

Joe
Hey Nat- I plan on being at the meeting on Tuesday. I will bring the pump. I hope you will be there also, if not I will leave it behind the bar
