ALEiens Homebrew Club

Spreading the Joys of Homebrewing Throughout Philadelphia and Its Suburbs

This month’s meeting agenda is as follows.

News and Notes
As with all meetings, we will go over some news and local events.

Styling with Steve
Our very own Philly Beer Geek, Steve Hawk, is starting a new lecture series called “Stylin with Steve”. Steve will go through the BJCP Style guide one style at a time. We hope to have samples for the styles we can get. This month’s meeting topic will be English Bitters.

Review the Brew
We are bringing back the “Review The Brew” segment again. Review the Brew is where we get to spotlight 2 brewers and a beer they brewed. Then anyone who would like to judge the beer is more than welcome to. All judging is done anonymously, but discussion is welcome.

So then, we are looking for 2 brewers to spotlight this month. Anyone want to step up? Reply on the forum post under “Homebrew Club Information”. If you are picked, please bring the recipe or highlights so we can discuss the brew.

*Important*
I am trying to have a more formal start time and enforce it, so this is my attempt. The meetings will officially begin at 7:30. I ask that everyone get there at 7:00 to get their beers, food, and find a seat upstairs. This will help up start on time and get through our agenda.

Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend,
Jeff
