ALEiens Homebrew Club

Spreading the Joys of Home Brewing Throughout Philadelphia and the Universe!

Anyone have and connections to any breweries that we could get a inside tour. Not the usaul run of the mill tour but a tour with the owners and does anyone know of any books explaining commercial brewing and whats involved. currently im trying to research brewing and sanitation, yeast culturing etc with commercial breweries for the obvious reason. any information be great. i know we have 1 or 2 in the club who work for breweries and ontop of that i need to learn how to keg.  does anyone in the club culture their own yeast? if so i would be interested in hanging out and helping wether it be kegging or a discussion on culturing yeast and seeing how its done.
