Saturday, May 5, 2012: Mash in time is 9am for all-grain brewers.

Location: The Hulmeville Inn

YARD'S will be providing us with "English Ale" yeast (White Labs 002). We have a sign up list below. If anyone cannot make it or decides not to brew, please let us know so others can brew. If you are not brewing that day, you are still welcome to come get some free yeast and brew at your convenience and enter your beer in the competition. Please bring a mason jar or 12 oz bottle (and a way to cap it) and take home some Yard's yeast. You can still brew at home and enter your beer in the competition.

The American Homebrewers Association has suggested American Brown Ale or Northern English Brown Ale recipes on their website. For this years Yard's/ALEien's Big Brew Day and Anniversary, we are giving you the challenge to brew either the Northern English Brown Ale OR an ale that Yard's does NOT brew. That's right, take their house yeast strain and do NOT brew a beer they already brew... muahahah. Below is the link to the AHA for their suggested recipes. (If you don't want to use the Yard's yeast, no problem! You just won't able to enter your beer in our BBD Competition.)

Here is the list for people brewing AT The Hulmeville. Water and Electric is available. Please only sign up if you are serious about brewing AT The Hulmeville. Again, the yeast is available to you even if you do not brew at The 'ville.

Hey Nat- sadly I must withdraw my spot to brew at the H-ville. I am being brought into work early and wont have enough time for everything. I will still come for the yeast and hopefully some Louella BBQ.
