Well, Mr. Louella mentioned the slim pickings under recipes so I decided to post the all-grain recipe I almost used as my first round pear beer in the upcoming competition..
Grain Bill:
6.39 lbs German Pilsner Malt
2.73 lbs Munich
.64 lb Wheat
.31 lb Caramunich 60L
.31 lb Carapils
.29 lb Carafa Special 2
(10.67 lb total)
1 oz Styrian Goldings pellets, 5.3%aa 60 min
.5 oz Hallertau pellets, 3% aa 30 min
.5 oz Hallertau pellets, 3% aa 10 min
Irish moss 10 min
90 min boil
Target mash temp 152f
Mash time 60 min
Boil time 90 min
Target OG 1.046
I lightly hopped this one in case I wanted to add pear to it. It was a great tasting beer regadless of the lack of hops.
