Saturday, May 3, 2014: Mash in time is 9am for all-grain brewers.
Location: The Deck at The Hulmeville Inn
Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company will be providing us with 2 yeast strains for your brews, already in mason jars too! You do not have to use this yeast if you want to brew at The Hulmeville, only if you want to enter your beer into the judging portion of BBD.
BREW ANYTHING! No style limit!
NCBC in house American Ale Yeast (WL001)
NCBC in house Dry English Ale Yeast (WL007)
Part of the fun of the Big Brew Day is the competition. We are brewing on 5/3 and the beers (2 bottles) will be collected at our June meeting on 6/24. You brews will be sent to the guys at NCBC for judging. The winner will be announced at the July meeting.
If you are not brewing that day, you are still welcome to come get some free yeast and brew at your convenience and enter your beer in the competition. We'll have it already in a mason jar for you. If you want to brew at the Hville but don't want to use NCBC's yeast, no problem! You just won't able to enter your beer in our BBD Competition.
Again, everyone is invited to come hang out, eat, observe, and drink that day! Food is always a welcomed addition!!! hint, hint, wink, wink…
